The Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark rivalry added another chapter Saturday in the Chicago Sky’s 93-58 loss to the Indiana Fever in the season opener.

The 2025 Fever are starting to take shape: Offseason acquisition Natasha Howard put up 15 points. The Clark-Aliyah Boston connection remained strong, with Boston pitching in 19 points and 12 rebounds. DeWanna Bonner, a veteran acquisition for the Fever in the offseason, made history by passing Tina Thompson on the WNBA's all-time scoring list.

As a team, Chicago shot a woeful 23-for-79 from the field (29.1 percent), 6-for-27 from three (22.2 percent) and 6-for-12 on free throws (50 percent). They turned the ball over 19 times, leading to 24 Fever points and were outscored 48-26 in the paint.
